Audio Fanatic package?

Is the audio fanatic package really worth the money? My friend wants an ser and he is still deciding on the audio package, and i didnt get it so, cant help him

hell naw..dont get it. I would rather get the system and the sunroof aftermarket. Only reason i would get the package is cause they would warranty the sunroof, but even if you buy the roof somewhere else they will warranty it. not worth the money.

Too bad he can't get the sun-roof without the audio package. I think the factory sun-roof has a 8-10 years before they start to leak but the after market sun-roofs only have about 5-6 years before they start to leak??

I have the audio package and it's okay, but I rather have a better system. When I baught my spec it was the only and first one out, they sold it at $21k OTD. That is a pretty good price for a new model car in the bay area.

If your friend's going to gut out the audio package anyway, don't get it. Why waste money on something that he's not even going to use. But, if he wants to do performance mods first and would like a decent system, get the audio package. I got mine basically for free. Talk to as many dealers as possible, they really can't drag down the price on the audio package but they can work on lowering the overall car price. Got my vspec with audio package and the extras (exception: no sunroof) for $18,800. But then again, I put $6k down... that might have helped in my pricing.

And why would he want a sunroof? They're gay. J/K

im pretty sure hes just going for performance, but still wants a decent system without spending a lot of cash. He is going to talk to the dealer tomorrow and i think he has decided for the audio package. He sends his thanks to all of you.
