help on 4 door handle swap

Can someone help me out with the 4 door handle swap

I used the how to at http://students.washington.edu/markpaco/door~1.htm but the pic's are down an im a lil confused i got the handle in the door but the handle will not open the door an when i use the handle inside the car the door opens but the handle on the outside lifts up the lever part

Sorry this wont help u but i thought since we're on the topic of door handles i should ask my question, someone punked the lock out of my passenger door, i'm pretty sure it was there when i bought the car but not 100% might explain the interior being stripped. but if I goto the wreckers and grab a lock should it work right? and will it pull my door handle back in? cuz it sticks out ne help would be great thanx

ok i found out i have to swicth the bars but im not sure how to without breaking them anybody know a good way ? thanks:bloated:

I cut the old ones out of the handle so not to mess them up, cut the plastic around them. Then i just hacked out the one on the 4 door handle so not to mess up the part it goes into.

you can get it out with a lot of patience. but it doesn't hurt to just cut it out as Cjz89civic mentioned.
