Projectors In!!!!!!!!

I just got the projector in my car tell me what ya guys think. Oh ya and the corners I got were for a 88-89 crx kinda suxs but I got another set and outside tinted them. They look pretty cool.

Actully if ya look at this pic you can tell my car really needs a paint job bad.. Im getting one in march though.

Sup, i love the look of black housing on black hatch's, and i love the black 4th gen's, they look sweet, like mine :D well, i was trying to find a couple pics of your custom tail's, i remember seeing them when u did it, i wanna see it again, but can't find em, could ya post some up for me please!

my front end is the same way and my mirrors are scraped up from the guy who had it before, but either way it still looks sweet

Yea, I got a shitload of chips too, oh well it aint that bad.

They are different now I tinted them also I get some pic tomarrow when it is light out side

what kind of projectors are those? how much? and where did u get em?
are they the blue ion ones?

I got them from www.matrixracing.com off e-bay. And yes they are the blue ion ones. They are actually the 90-91 ones but i just took off the old braket on my stocks and swapped them. Same headlight different braket. Beware it takes a long ass time to get them from them and they really dont know what the hell they are doing over there. Like with the corners I got I told the guy alex that I could only use 88-89 civic hb corners and he sends me 88 crx corners. I even e-mail him telling him a second time not to send any thing else, but what did i get 88 crx corners. Anyway blah, blah, blah.

Soon as I get the money im throwin some of those bad boys on my ride, seeing as my left headlight has a hole in it anyway.

the only thing I would be concerned about would be rock chips on them or them cracking..I would be mighty pissed if I spent all of that money and they got fudged! I think that is the only thing holding me back from getting them!:)

I made it 10 years on original headlights, before a rock got it..

I LOVE the black projectors...I just need $200+ and time to do it ;)

Me and my dad siliconed the hole, but water still leaks through.

how did u tint them.... i was going to do that but i couldnt get the lenses to come off the cover..or whatever its stuck on???

to tint them I just used tint paint then a clear coat over the top to keep the weather from beating them up.

Yeah..I did that too..it actually worked for about 6 months, and then the silicone degraded and fell off..it finally quite raining long enough for the moisture to dryout inside the light...now it is 25 degs here today so i don't think my silicone is very pliable :( - i'll have to wait for it to warm up a little.

hey there cjz89civic, i was wondering if those projectors were plastic, or were they glass..... i have some glass ones on my other 90 civic but on this one that i got off ebay, they were plastic, i would've preffered glass, but i hope this plastic can withstand scratches. and the projectors that i got would only fit the 9005 bulbs for some stupid reason, the 9006 bulbs have a little bigger housing right around the rubber seal.... so i just shaved the teeth off the 9005 bulbs to make it fit, but atleast they're really bright which makes it look even cooler......

Ya they are plastic. Actully lexan you can shoot them with a bb gun at a close range and not break them. To keep them clean I will use lexan cleaner I can get at auto zone. Its a polish keeps the scratch to a minimum.
