Hey gang...
ok Maybe it's just the way I drive but I've raced my friends integra 95 GSR ( has new exhaust and piping, could taht be It?)
but he keeps on beating me! not by a lot mind you maybe half a car, but he beats me none the less. kinda pisses me off. is this normal or do I just need to improve my driving?? i shouldn't have such a big problem with it you know?? cuz you guys say that we can keep up /beat a type-s!
so yeah i don't get it.

You know I raced the same kind of car and got beat every single time. some say that it all depends on the driver. I raced this red GSR Integra on westhimer about maybe like 4-5 times, he beat me everysingle time. I think also that they probably have less weight than us. I also raced like 6-7 different SPEC V's and I always lose. I feel my car is slow but then again I have only been driving stick now for about 8months now.:bloated:

The 95 integ GSR have OBD1 chips. Almost Everyother honda/acura built after this year has OBD2. OBD1 are less restricting, but environmentally unhealthy. I've seen OBD1 integs run 14.7-14.8 with an iced manifold, slicks and alot of redlining. but seriously dont underestimate the old gen integras.

I agree with TiTANSER. Don't underestimate any car. But then again, if you don't have any mods, and you're losing by half a car, you should feel good. I had no mods and I raced my friends VW 337 and I lost by half a car so I feel good about myself. I never won against him but I feel good knowing that he had a Turbo and I had... um... stock intake... um... stock everything and I was only half a car behind. Oh, I also raced my friend's RSX TypeS w/mods and I almost beat it! TWICE! And then he got a turbo kit. Bastard.
Anyway, if you're losing to a modified car and yours is stock, don't feel bad. Unless yours is modified as well, then you should be ashamed of yourself and cover your face with a paper bag. j/k Practice always makes perfect. Just practice takeoffs. That's where we win with our low end torque.
