Which cars would you like to see a model made of from this years Detroit / Los Angeles motorshows? I would like to see the new Ford F150 SVT Lightning & the new Mustang GT, also the Cadillac Sixteen and the Dodge Magnum. Anyone out there know of advanced plans to build any of these from Tamiay or Revell?

Yeah, and modify it just a tad so it looks like a Munro again :D :D

I dont like the fact that GM bought the new Monaro to make the GTO. The GTO is one of Pontiacs most famous cars and i hate to see it made of something else that isn't even American. It still has the detuned GenIII V8 in it aswell....GRRR!! DAMN HOLDEN!

I'd like to see the Cadillac 16, the Hemi Magnum, the Mustang GT coupe, the Ford Lightning, and I'd also like to see Revell get serious w/tuners and offer 1/24th scale (not 1/25 scale) full detailed 2004 Subaru WRX STi w/the 2.5 liter engine, the Mitsu EVO VIII, and Focus SVT (rumors of the SVT are rampant). A kit of the new Ford GT(not)40 would be great, as well as the 2003 Mustang Mach I (also strong rumors), and the new Viper.
I wish Tamiya would do the new RX8 and the Infiniti G35 coupe and a 575 Maranello before it's an antique. I'd also like to see a Murcielago, Aston Martin Vanquish, and the new Bentley coupe.
While I'm dreaming, Tamiya could certainly take the GT3 kit and make a decent GT2. And a Mercedes CL600 coupe. And the new AMG SL55. And the new BMW Z4. And a Veyron...and...and...
I could care less about the new GTO...it's got a great interior, great engine, but man is it ever boring to look at-it looks like a 1995 car. Maybe a fun car to drive and own, but I don't aspire to building a model of it.

actually GM didn't have to buy anything. Holden is the Austrailian subsidiary of GM, sort of like Vauxhall is to the UK and Chevy is to American. i think it's an awesome car to base the new GTO on, especially now that the F-bodies are gone, so GM will still have an affordable RWD V8 coupe. i can't wait for it to come out...

I still don't like the new GTO I think its a disgrace that they based it on Holdens Monaro. Hell the new Monaro is a mutant of other cars pieces! It has a non-Holden engine, non-Holden gearbox, its chassis is from a Statesman its panels are obviously from the old VX Commodore. I just think its a disgrace to make the GTO out of such an inbreed of a car. I would like to see Pontiac make its own GTO because Pontiac have always been the underdog arm of GM. They nearly always make awesome designs, just look at the Firebird and the 2nd generation Trans Am.
