this has been so helpful to me in organizing my paints. its designed for the tamiya mini paint bottles since 99% of the paint i have is that size. it also holds my alcad paints which are wonderful. Alltogether i think it cost me less than $10 to make since i used cheapo wood strips from the home depot and scrap wood that was laying around in my garage. no nails were used... only wood glue. pretty darn stiff. let me know what you all think.

Thats really good! Your not just a good model maker but a keen carpenter too!:D Must take up lots of desk space though?
Here's another idea i saw in a model mag ages ago. Take those wooden cutlery boxes you can get and stand them on their side, you get mini shelving for you paints etc.

i guess it does take up space. its about as long as a tamiya model box and about as high as a tamiya box on its side. its almost as wide as 1.5 tamiya model boxes... im assuming that most of us can identify with how big a tamiya model box is, generally speaking. despite is large stance, it does make everything quite accessable. too bad i didnt read that article you saw before i built it. at least it was cheap

That is a great idea, thanks you just gave me something to do at my dads this week besides bilding the 4 kits i have waiting to be done at the moment (excluding my Calsonic & FC RX7). I only have around 20 tins of Humbrol paints, I found that Tamiya flat black and silver leaf never dried on my models. I haev a satin black Tamiya which dries easily though. Do you think it was just those two bottles that couldn't dry?
