Painted the Merc today with Tamiya TS-17 and clear coated with TS-13 Clear. Tamiya's TS-17 Gloss Aluminum is the nicest silver in a spray can for a body there is period.

Thanks.I only use Future over the decals. The gloss Aluminum needs the clear coat. I still love my Future LOL.

So who does make the kit?
I have looked over all the resin manufacturers I can find lists for and can't find anyone making this kit......I am assuming it is a resin kit?

To all who are interested this model will soon be available to purchase. as soon as I find out where I will post the info. I am doing the first build and trying to put some decent instructions together. It is 1/24 resin. Here is a pic of the parts. Although not pictured there will be Vac-formed windows included along with axles and screws to mount body to chassis.

No I am not the maker of this kit, I am just building one and trying to make some instructions.

I did not rub out the paint yet at all. With Tamiya's clear it usually only has a little orange peel so I do not sand I just use their compound.
Outside of the US Future is known as Johnson's Krystal Klear. It is a liquid Acrylic used to protect floors, it's sold in grocery stores usually. It can be airbrushed without thinning as it is very watery and a higher air pressure is better maybe 35 psi. I usually carefully wipe it on over my decals to seal them. It's much safer than other clear coats. It can be stripped with ammonia which doesn't hurt paints or decals. The only paint the ammonia strips is Tamiya Acrylics.
