Epoxy Putty

I went to my local hardware store, and picked up Epoxy putty... and ive came tot he conclusion that it cannot be sanded.. is that correct?

It depends what kind you got. You are better getting hobby oriented putty, like Milliput or Tamiya epoxy putty. Some of the hardware-oriented stuff is pretty tough. Tamiya and Milliput are easier to sand. You work epoxy putty w/wet fingers, to help shape while it's still soft, and that should eliminate some of the sanding.

It depends what kind you got. You are better getting hobby oriented putty, like Milliput or Tamiya epoxy putty. Some of the hardware-oriented stuff is pretty tough. Tamiya and Milliput are easier to sand. You work epoxy putty w/wet fingers, to help shape while it's still soft, and that should eliminate some of the sanding.

I'm going to add to this, after several hours(not when it's totally dry), if your making a body kit, you can carve out a basic shape of what you want for less sanding.
