Anyone watch it?

I really liked the pontoon/bus idea, great for the summer!

I have seen it a few times I don't like watching regular tv though. too damn many commercials, for a 1 hour program seems like they show 45 minutes of commercials and the 15 left they spend 10 of that talking to the people on the team and about 4.5 mins showing them actually working on it then 30 seconds of driving their creation. Other than the commericals they do some pretty crazy shit.

I like the episode when they turned the limo into a fire....limo. it was cool. And they usually have badass paint-jobs

One thing I've noticed is that they always add a cool paint job and like 20+ inch rims to all the vehicles.Does anyone know what happens to the cars after there done?

they are most likely owned by discovery channel... i'm sure jesse has the wheelstanding ambulance though...

the show is pretty tight, though... and it does show alot of real stuff going on...

the wheels and paint are usually freebies, which are thrown in by local shops, (wheels, not paint) and that gets their name on the show, and people see that... and buy stuff ... it's marketing...

that's why they got free stuff from jeg's... i'm sure that didn't help their sales at all...

but i love the show

Are you talking about the Surban that was transformed into a wedding chaple? That was finnished but it really sucked. The guy that made the pipe organ was a real asshole.

I want to know how the paint jobs are done-the way they look you know there is no way it was painted and glossed in one night....

These guys make engine swaping seem like a piece of cake :D

I've only seen the Bug/boat one which was uh... wierd. It looked like an upside-down fish-bowl floating in water

i think i said that they play it off that the paint jobs happen over night by giving the car or whatever to the painter that night and they get it back that morning

and in the show they play it off tgat it is like turn it in for a paint job that night and get it back the next morning so that isnt even 24 hrs. it is like 10 lol

I love this show. My favourite one is where they took the Impala and turned it into a zamboni.

Hopefully they dont run out of ideas too soon....

The guy sat in a rumble seat in the back of the car, and then the shavings from the ice were hucked into the car (as in the INSIDE of the car) that was pretty stupid they could have made a hopper for that shit, cause they WRECKED that car by letting all the shavings go inside.

Then they had a water sprinkler that filled the ice in, off the back.

Was a good one, except that I really didn't see the whole thing, am I missing anythying?

Later!

I know somebody who has a 1988 Yugo GV that was built into a pickup. Is that monstrous enough? http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/grinno.gif - didn't think so.

But I'd buy the book if you could get the whole story on this monster...
