Okay, maybe somebody can clear something up, I and a few other people were under the impression that the CRX and Hatch had compatable fenders, I'm wanting to purchase hatch fenders for my car since I cannot find CRX fenders anywhere around here and I dont wanna spend the high price for Z3 fenders. Anybody know if this is true? can I use hatch fenders on my CRX? I'd also be getting the headlights and corner lights from the same car (89 hatch)

yea go for it, i got a rex fender on my 89 hatch, no modifying either, people said i'm lying that it wont fit and stuff (not ppl on here but at my school) but i got one and it fit great, maybe i got lucky?? i dunno but try it. i've seen people out here running around with hoods from rex's on there hatchs so they must be the same front-end wise.

true enough, i bought a set of 1 piece headlights when i first got my car, and the guy didnt tell me they were for a sedan, needless to say that sucked

yea i've noticed that when i'm at the j/y the sedan fenders r different and corner lenses r smaller lookin and they dont have the screw holes in the side

only the 88-89 civics, crx's and sedans had the screw holes in the corners, the 90-90 civics crxs and sedans had a arm that screws on to the body under the hood to keep them in place

I'm pretty sure they won't fit.. They aren't even the same, CRXs have that plastic trim around the bottom, and I belive that non of the CRX fender goes under the corner light, instead that metal peice from under the headlights goes around and under..
I dunno. :) I'd need to look at two pics side by side.. I'm pretty sure they won't fit.

actually siz you have a point... the CRX does not have that metal piece under the headlights like the hatch or sedan does... I did a search on www.car-part.com and I found one 40 miles away for $75 and the other even futher for $100 Does anybody have a spare pair or single CRX fender?

i have noticed that the fenders are lighter, and the quality you get from the OEM isnt there (but i am very picky)!!

if you want to get CRX fenders for your hatch or visa-versa, you'll need to buy the front bumper, both fenders, and corner lights. Its gonna look lke crap if you just buy the fenders, i dont even think it will fit since the hatches have the metal bumper filler and CRXs dont, plus the CRX's side moldings are much skinnier than that of the hatch, not to mention the lower plastic piece on the bottom of the fender, Its gonna look cool, but you will be able to tell. To clear things up, hoods and headlights on both CRX and hatchback are the same.

yea, i knoew you hat to modify them to fit the crx bumper, but its prolly too much work to get involved with bro, anyway, you decide and hit me up, although personally i wouldnt put the effort into it, you never know the lengths other people will...so just hit me up when you decide, its totally cool if you dont want them, and im glad that i told you to make this thread asking other people because i wasnt sure 100% sure about it, anywayz,...peace

hey, there's my first weight reduction mod :D anyway, I'm not that picky with this part since I just need a set to get me by until I can afford my grand plan (BC kit, Z3 fenders, CF hood, projectors etc...) ironically enough those parts cover the parts I have to replace but I have to have this on the road soon because my plymouth is about to (like most domestics do early) die. I've got to have a car to drive while I get a new engine and tranny for it... then my mom is getting a minivan she wants me to "fix-up" (aka rice-up... no I'm not kidding, I wish I was...)
