New O2 sensor rules, the stock one was fried.

I replaced my stock O2 sensor today with a Bosch one and I must say the differences is amazing. The O2 sensor I had was obviously Honda so was probably never replaced in all my cars 200,000 or so miles. So after figuring out how the hell I was going to get to the O2 sensor I replaced it and fire up the car and it's great. Heres a mini how-to for anyone wanting to replace theirs.

1. Remove the coolant hose thats right above the fan closest to the battery, you only need to remove the end that goes right over the fan.

2. Undo the 2 (or 1 bolt in my case) bolts that hold the fan to the radiator support.

3. Reach your hand under the fan and flip up the clip on it's wire harness and pull out the plug, lift the fan right out now.

4. Now with plenty of room undo the O2 sensors connection to the wire harness.

5. Afix the O2 sensor wrench to the sensor and use an extension and wrench to break free the O2 sensor, remove.

Do the opposite to install. Torque spec for the O2 is 33ft-lbs.

I got mine at a local store for about $40. But I've heard Autozone has them for like $15 but we don't have any Autozones around here that I feel like driving to. Pep Boys should have them to. With Bosch it really doesn't matter where you get it since they are all the same, unlike reman stuff.
