Hey AF,
I've just started my BMW Z3 model and I decided that this would be the model that i would use to try building body kits and hook up. The model is pretty simple and i think it look good. I recieved it as a x-mas gift:D and now im asking u guys for any suggestions for any body kits u kno of or has seen for me to try building. The closest thing i have done to modifying a model is my ITR. U can see the thread; it's somewhere in this forum. But all i did was put vents in the hood, did a little lowering, build an intercooler and cover up some panel lines. So now im trying to raise my skill level....this is what i have decied to do already...body color: chrome yellow, black side vents, blakc grill, gloss black 18" pegasus rims(heres a pic of the rims (http://www.pegasushobbies.com/resources/pics/rims/1222.gif)), a scratch built exhuast, tail(borrowed from a celica).
considering....black stripes. tinted head lights...intercooler
One thing to keep in mind is with the intercooler, i would have to make the mouth bigger in the front. The problem is that the clip or area where the chasis is inserted or fitted into is there.(People who build tamiya models kno what i'm talkin about) If i open the mouth up, it would mean that the chasis will have nothin to hold or be fitted into. So i dont know what to do. Alot of body kits for the Z3 i've seen online will require me to open the mouth up, but im not doing that only cuz i dont know how to take that task on. But if someone knows how to or has a suggestion, please feel free to lay them on me. :o) THNXS
PS hey tonioseven..dont think i forgot about that 7th genertion skyline. I'm gettin ready to build that next and I'll post the pics.
