I just don't get it... Why would you do something like this? I'm curious... I mean I could maybe see like 'the challenge' or something but I've seen dozens of times when people just straight laugh. Nobody takes them seriously. This provides another excuse: 'sleeper', but even then, how about making a sleeper that you can drive around in with some dignity, one without people passing as they point and laugh.

I'm not trying to be a dick here. If Geo's are your thing that's great but I fail to comprehend the reason. Just curious. Why would you do it?

Boredom? Tired of the everyday civic, accord, eclipse, etc. Who cares if others laugh, it's someones work.

Isn't that why people modify Civics? For 'the challenge'? I know I wouldn't choose a Geo Metro to modify, but I guess someone out there did. Maybe that person did it to be unique, chances are there aren't many Metros like that one. ;)

I have so much in comon with you because I ask the same question, why do people modify Civics, I mean what type of degenerate puts a fart pipe on his Civic, and then goes out and try to race everyone! Its one of those questions that has no logical answer.

Heh, I do it cause it's a fast car, for a decent price. I live on my own, don't make a whole lot of money, and have a lot of bills. I still need time to play. I'd much rather be workin with an AWD turbo DSM, but hey, we take what we can get.
