i have a 14b turbo, and i have a integra ecu, bigger injectors, bov, fuel rail, and better fuel pump. ? is that going to be enough to run the turbo at 6 pounds for now? do i need an intercooler at this boost? what kind of adjustments would i have to make??

to be on the safe side, i would run the intercooler, and im sure you know this....but you will need the plumbing for the turbo...

Speaking of Turbos, I wanna get one for my D15B2 Eventually, i wanna just run low boost like 6 - 10 pounds so i dont have to do any modifying to my engine, what kind of turbo would you guys recommend for low boost like that?? i would be running a front mount intercooler and blow-off valve too. and would you recommend going to a j/y and taking one off another car? (Like a supra or wrx or something along those lines)

id spin the fins to make sure they are straight and not wobbling around or squeking or anything, check to see if there is any oil leak remnants from bad seals, and happy hunting.

alright thanx for the help, also will i need turbo headers? or will the stock ones work? and i should probably get all the plumbing with the turbo too huh? and what other cars do you recommend getting a turbo out of because i dont think there are too many wrecked saabs out here. and does anyone know the year of the saab 9000 to get the turbo from??

Figures someone comes in here and asks a real question and someone gives him a dumb answer. Dude you need to roll over to Honda-tech.com. They know shit there. Not like here. Ask questions here about tinting and painting things.... To put things into perspective for you about the intercooler- greddys kit for our cars runs at like 7psi and the intercooler is optional. Its always a good idea, but not neccasary.

The Turbos from Saabs are crap I've heard. They are like Garret C3 or something weird like that. They are very very small to. I was at a junkyard and I was going to rip the turbo out of one but it was more work that it was worth.

I would recommend doing an mpfi swap before doing the turbo setup. The two injectors on the d15b2 are just not going to provide enough fuel to satisfy all of the extra air you will be pumping through the engine.

The greddy kit comes stock at 5.5 psi and the intercooler is optional. An intercooler would be highly beneficial for anything above the stock boost on the greddy kit.

Ami was tellin me one time about someone who did a JY turbo setup with a D15B2 and used the MPFI, ran low 15's.

I hope my memory serves me correct :p

Hmm really, mine pegged 7 with ease. Maybe the guage is off? I doubt it, autometer respectable...who knows.

i'd actually be happy with low 15's. I just want a turbo on my D15B2 right now and i'll only use it for a year or so with low boost then when i get some cash i'm gonna buy a B16a2 but its not like i'll be racing my car with a D15B2. i just want a lil extra hp for not much cash.
