I need to find a really cheap cat back, My exhaust is really really bad, and im super broke. Anyone know where to get one really cheap. Or maybe someone has their OEM cat back laying around still. Im also wanting to start pricing for a mini me swap. Where can i buy the heads, Preferably not ebay.

Buy a cheap muffler and have a muffler shop fab up some custom piping. You can usually get all of this for under 300 bucks.:)

whatever you do...stay away from pacesetter! :apuke: it was like 4 yrs ago when i tried it and it sucked. i doubt they've made it any better. i tried out a tenzo axel back this last time. it was around $240. not bad at all for as cheap as it was. you can always get bigger custom pipes made for the rest of the way back when you have more funds or after your swap.

lol, very funny, its a d16y8 head with a 93 si valve cover that says vtec (96 and up didn't come with that) the head has only 50,000 miles and is in great shape. perfect for a mini-me swap cause the dizzy bolts right on, everything is bolt on except you have to have a vtec controller of some type. i have just posted the head on ebay so if anyone wants it for 2 i will stop the auction early. peace

you will have a load of wiring to do but if you just replace the head then it will work with a vtec controller, msd makes a activation switch for like 40 bucks

you're selling the d16y8 head for 300 or the whole motor........cuz holy shit I can get heads for $75......all d16z6's but still.........mini-me is easy provided you vtec solenoid works properly.I did it......I wouldn't recommend doing it on a d15block though......they are junk!!! read up........I have a spare vtec assembly in my dresser....ha..........

walt...you can get a wiring conversion harness made for $150. extend 8 wires and the rest is plug n play. 4 of those wires go to the 4 wire o2 sensor. so it makes it hella easy

ya but thats if you have the whole motor and intake manifold and dizzy right? i have decided just to turbo my car and i'm not selling the head for 300, i was dumb enough to buy it for that much but owell. i said 200. i mean the head is in absolutly perfect condition.

I got my twin pipe janspeed from demon tweeks for £160 delivered and it comes with a 3 year garauuntee and its only steel as well so they are pretty good. they are twin 2.75 inch pipes and fit the bumper lovely.

just a suggestion
