I found something out about pulling struts. FYI

I was lowering my friends 97 civic coupe and noticed something... Instead of separating the ball joint, just unbolt the fork part of the strut assembly...Then it just comes out in two pieces. Can you do this on any honda? I hope not, otherwise I'll be kicking myself for not doing that like the last 10 times.....Just thought I'd share.

I know I can do it on my 98 Acura Integra LS. My friend has a 2000 Honda Civic and we done it on his for coil over isntallation.
