I need door and quarter panel moldings for my hatch. I've looked in the junk yards around here (L.A.) & they won't sell them w/ out buying the whole door. Dealer wants to rape me w/ the price they want for new ones. I need a passenger side door and a driver's side quarter panel molding. Must be clean and dent free. If you have some to sell...please let me know... holding up my paint job. Thanks, Roger
PS: I need tips on removing old ones..."How To"??

Very carefully. Take door panels and push each clip through to get the mouldings out..Finding a set is as difficult as finding one that's clean. Those clips break easily and the dealer dont sell the clips for the quarter panels alone. You have to buy the mouldings with it. I may order a new set from the dealer but depending on how long it takes for them to ship, I'll let you know if I will sell my old ones. They have been repainted black and looks clean except when I had my car painted, they tried to take em out and broke a couple of clips on the passenger side...instead of getting new ones, they screwed one side of it to my door. It's hardly noticeable but I just prefer something brand new right now, since I'm showing my car in a couple of weeks.
