I've waited almost an entire year for my perfect silverstone 6sp fully loaded touring 350z for a 16 year old girl with a license for only 2 months to drive right across me causing me to run right in to her. thats just pure bad luck for me. hopefully its just the body work that needs to be replaced. For now it sits in my garage (a sad sight to look at) and im finding the best body shop to fix it. If anyone knows any very good, hi tech body shops that can resotre my Z to original condition in southern california please post it.
On the positive side the car felt very solid during the accident, her honda was more torn up than my Z. The brakes worked really well, if I was driving in another car (and i wish i was) the car could have possibly been totaled.

haha... i just saw the thread in the 'lastest discussions' thing when i first logged on the other night. Figure'd i take a looksy...
Yeah, I'm about this close > < from buying me a 240z. Im working out the 'loan' process with my Step Dad.. untill i can sell my truck to pay him back...
Particular one I'm looking at has a 2.8 6 cylinder with a High Compression E31 Head, 5 spd and 15 alloys. Its very pretty. Its like a Flame red. Its got new brakes, master cylinder, calipers, battery, 3 core radiator and some other randoms... its a good buy for what the guys asking.

I don't own a 350Z but I can imagine how you feel, damn, well at least you're alright, you can always buy another car or get it repaired but you can never get a new life. Glad to hear you're ok.

Man this reminds of the time when i hit my car about two month ago. Its so sad to see it all messed up. One word of advice do not go to a insunrance recomended place they suck. Find a place where they'll guarantee that all replacements parts are OEM literally not OE or anything like that but made by Nissan. That what i did to my car and now it looks perfect there is nothing to tell that it was in a accident. A was actually there when the dealereship truck came and delivered the parts Also make sure they replace all the parts not just bend them into place.
Hope it turns out OK.

Ask for depreciation on your car, from her insurance company. I am an insurance agent and they owe you that. The depreciation is the money that you would lose on the total value on your car. I have a 350 to and feel awful for you. If I can help give you some advice, let me know. Good Luck.

Wow someone who knows how I feel !!! I can truly emphathize with you. I had almost the same thing done to me by some old guy. Hit me so hard it caused$10k worth of damage to my Redline Touring. Just one wheel was $1430 and another $357 for the tire. It happenned 3 days after I picked it up(Nov 2). I am still waiting to get it back, major delay on some parts. Hopefully I will have it back(like new???) next week. Seems like since I decided to buy all I have done is wait, wait, wait. Wait for it to come in, wait to get it back.:( :(
