elec. trunk lock won't pull down

I have a 1990 continental and the eletric trunk closer won't work. it will lock but not pull down and tighten. it makes no sounds either. suggestions? Does this have it's own fuse? thanks, larry

You might call a local car shop who works on Lincolns and ask what you yourself might be able to do, or you could simply take it in and have it looked at. It could be the the motor that pulls the trunk lid down may have gone bad but I dont work on Lincoln's so I myself wouldnt know.
