I have a d16a6 w/ d16z6 head on it sitting in my garage and i'm going to put it in my car soon. I'm planning on turboing it and I have a question. Since most SOHC kits are for the EK and EG chassis, how hard would it be to make one of those kits work with my setup. I know this guy selling a kit with the IC piping and everything and I want to know if it would be too much custom fab. to deal with. I'm planning on doing all this pretty sooon. I'm not going to be putting it on myself, so I don't know if this is everything I'm going to need or if I'm going to need more, so just let me know what you think or what else you think I need. Thanks.

That looks like just about everything you'll need.
Maybe some upgraded injectors if you want to push higher boost later but i wouldn't recommend that without some internal work.
All that should matter now is clearence. If all else fails ask the guys for the measurements of the piping and just get out a good old tape measure and see if it's about right for you car.

What do you mean by clearance. You mean the IC piping clearance? So everything else would be ok? Sorry I don't know anything about turbo applications, my friend is installing it.

Yeah, I meant if the pipes will fit inside the engine bay properly without interferring with anything else.
Thats not a big concern though since you could fab your own for very cheap. I can't remember the link but somewhere on here theres a link to a "do it yourself" turbo system for an integra/civic. It gives a basic run down of the piping needed. Really it's just a matter of taking te measurements then cutting it the right length.
It's pretty late her so I'm not gonna go hunting for the site now but if no one's posted it or said anyhing else by the next time i check here I'll find it for you.
Also, make sure you don't go much beyond 6 Psi. of boost unless you've got upgraded internals.

theres no fuel managment on that list. And w/the mini-me set up you compression is gonna get raised quite a bit. Somewhat in the 10:1 range I believe. If you have the money use a zdyne stand alone and bigger injectors. Otherwise use a thicker head gasket and retard the timing.

Okay, drop the MSD, the Vortech FMU, the turbo timer, and the boost gauge (if it's an AutoCrap aka AutoMeter) and get some injectors and a VAFC. You're alredy getting the pump, so that's all you'd need. Do the AFC "hack" and you'll be boosting like a mad man. Good choice on the turbo, I'll get one some day.
