I changed the pitman arm and idler arm on a 97 Yukon but now the steering wheel is off a few degrees when the front wheels are straight.
Am I correct in saying the pitman are will only go on the sector shaft in one position due to flats on the spline.
Does anyone have a solutiion to align the steering wheel with the front wheels?
Thanks

Due to wear this can happen and it requires resetting the toe to center the wheel, no other way.

Thanks for the response.
So am I right saying the pitman arm can only go on in one position and you cant place the pitman a few spines in either direction on the shaft to correct the steering wheel position.
