New car :)

Well i have finally got my new car :)


Its a Toyota Supra 3.0 Turbo 1989 its probly pushing out about 240bhp :) no real mods as yet ... only thing really... the cat has been removed...

in the next week or so ill get a full s/s exhaust system fitted ... a nice dump valve and probly a induction kit :)


I will get some pics up soon ... my dad has jsut taken her for a spin hehe

Cool! That's one of the cars I was looking for my 1st car back in the day, unfortunately to thirsty on the petrol and heavy on the insurance. Ended up getting the mk1 CRX.

BTW was over in Cambran(spelling??) over 25/26 Dec.

Hell Yea!!!!!! Congrats dude! I love Supras :sun: when i see one i'm always like :eek2: lol, my brothers friend has one.... its ummm... pretty fast! lol this guy lives for speed, he's got a kawasaki bike thats governed at 317 km/h.... he's hit that a couple times lol, but yea i dunno what all he's done to his supra but it sounds like a friggin 747 takin off lol. gotta love turbos hehe but yea congrats again!

the body is quite good ... a bit of rust on one of the wheel arches but thats gonna be sorted ... the interior is ok but the seats r a bit beat up being leather and stuff ... couldget hat sorted but i think ill jsut get soem covers for now. There is somthing like 170k miles on her but she had a complete engine rebuild 10k ago and everything that could be changed has been :)

She is blooming fast so far have done over 140mph in her but just got too scared lol that kind of speed aint for the roads.

hay cyberrexer did u bring ya rex upto (CWMBRAN) hehehe cos i never seen it around over xmas but then again i was very drunk :)

gonna have to sell my honda now :( so i can get some parts for the supra ... tis a shame i love hondas and if i could have got one with over 200bhp as standard i would have hehe :(

maybe i should save for a NSX next lol i wish :(


but i'm gonna carry on posting here if ya all dont mind ... the supra forum is dead hehe and i love this place :)

i knew a guy in high school with the exact same car but in blue. i used to mess with him. tell him all about how a 4th gen could smoke his car. he would get so pissed. it was fun to do :D

yeah i was thinknig about getting a JDM rex and then getting it upto 200bhp but i really wanted to start with somthing that had 200bhp or more :(... i did have a look at the 2.2 vtec prelude but the insurance was nuts cos it was a grey import :(

ah the 7m-gte.........is yours fast?? my cousin has a 86 1/2 supra....same body style with the 7m-ge.....non turbo and his quick.....he's selling it for 1grand....

yea i know, insurance sux on imports, its like 250 or 260 a month canadian for my car once its on the road. think i'll look around more tho. CAA wanted me to pay 340 a month for a rex... thats why i have a hatch now lol. but really, 200 hp in my car with the stock D15B2 would be nothing but a dream lol. want a turbo but dont wanna pull the engine apart more to get everything ready lol so i guess its 93 hp untill i can afford a new engine haha

yeah i would have liked to get a rex maybe do an engine transplant and turrbo conversion but i aint got a garage so it was pointless :(


and to civicracer yeam man she is fast ... got 150mph out of her now and she still had more i dont want to go too much faster hehe imagine if the cops busted me lol...

Congrats on the new supra.. I have a 1989 Supra also and I was wondering where you got those front turn signals from? Are those Half clear and red?couldnt tell from the picture... So how bad is the interior? If your looking to customize your interior at some point the best place to go is at www.suprasports.com they have dash kits, rocker panels everything.. Well I wish you luck with your supra.. Keep posting pics I wanna see how it comes out..

yeah they r half orange and half white .... the side part is for the indicator and the white part is like a side light :)


i think this came as standard in europe and in the US they where just orange...

i hate getting pulled over. the cop always says something that i almost get myself in trouble for replying. i once got pulled over and the cop asked if i realized that i was accelorating UP a hill. gee, it was always my understanding to slam on the brakes when climbing a hill

LMAO! poor jer. he has really bad luck in my cars. naw his story was getting pulled over on the grapevine. cop says he was doing 111. he also pulled over a 5th gen at the same time. he thought we were traveling together and racing through traffic (so he said). the other funny story was the clear tails. i didn't get stopped once. he got stopped 3 times from x-mas eve to new year's eve. doh!
