Thermostat change resulting in electrical problem

I changed the thermostat on my 1986 CRX SI. Once I got the housing back on and everything hooked up properly, I tried to start the car and it did not start. I thought I broke the ground wire that hooks up directly to the housing. I replaced those wires and the cor will still not turn over. There is an electrical problem somewhere, but I am not sure where to look. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any ideas?

did it even attempt to turn over? or is there a complete lack of power? do any of the other electrical components work? and check to make sure every thing is plugged in...

first make sure your wires are hooked up to your battery. you possible got coolant on an electricial item, which may have caused it to short out

I kept going over and over my work and found the loose starter wire. I must have knocked it loose when I was done around there. I have big hands so that was the problem. Plugged that back in and everything works fine now. Thanks for your help, anyway.
