HI! I saw in a post that you want to take your car on a racing circuit. Im pretty sure you have racing track in Dallas, but..

I live in Quebec (Canada) near a racing circuit: http://www.lecircuit.com/. It's on the Mont-tremblant resort.

It's a old track (it was a formula 1 circuit years ago..) but about 2 year ago someone bought it ( they say is the vice-president of Tommy Hilfiger...) and that guy has a Ferrari dealership in Montreal near Decarie Highway. I the week-end he come here and drives is Ferrari's on this track. Its in the wood=its beautiful!

So this guy, "redo" the pavement and he made changement to certain curve... now the Rolex 24H and Ferrari Chalenge are racing on this track. Finally, Im saying all this to try to "convince" you that this track is not a "amateur" one :)

So maybe you could come at this track with your wife and by the way you could visite Montreal and the Mont-trembant. Here in Quebec, we speak english and french, we have really good restaurent and many think...this track is at 45 min of Montreal.

http://www.tremblant.com/index-e.asp?campaignid=google-tremblant

It could be fun( on the race track...) and the two of you could do a romantic trip here in Mont-Tremblant it's big resort...a lot of Europen come here.

I Just wanted to give you some ideas for you and your wife(not that you can't, but sometimes we don't think of it)

;)

P.S. : don't stop your kindness, we really apreciate that you take time for us :p

Canada circuits are really good ones, but in Europe I specially like Monza in Italy, because the circuit offers you two different tracks (oval or just the complete circuit) so it lets you know what it feels like to drive and put the gear in 220 miles an hour.

http://www.monzanet.it/

Or you can go to Madrid in Spain and race in the JARAMA circuit (the model JARAMA from Lamborghini probably takes the name from our circuit).

Anyway, Monza is the best from Europe I think.

An advice: if you decide go to Italy, Venice is not as romantic as people told in movies, I was there some years ago and "Water Rats" are bigger than cats (I'm not joking, there are literally -water rats- there) and water is not as romantic as in movies showing the moonshine in the calm of the night, no! water have rest of food from tourists, so you can find in water another landscape made of "Big Macs" and Sandwiches floating everywhere.

Rome is quite different and about all Florence, really romantic orange sunsets.

Good luck in your endeavors

But don't get me wrong...if i had $$$ it's one think for sure: I'll go and try different race track with my beast( green Murcielago):D :D

carnacier:

Yes you right the most funny is race the car in all possible circuits, which involves too a lot of money, you know: tires, lease the circuit (expensive -- around $ 1.500 half an hour --), etc. etc.

I have a friend which is a car tester in Spain, from Porsche and other brands testing prototypes and he comment me how expensive is maintain this adrenaline habit.

For a guy living in USA, the better to do is race the car in USA circuits and Canada circuits because is nearer.

Transport a car to Europe involves a lot of complications and problems, yes European circuits are more "romantics" you could say that if you like, but it still being a complication and a real headache.

I tell you about the Monza circuit 'cos (in my humble opinion) that circuit have two alternative tracks, it is an immense achievement and really have been planned to obtain since last oil drop from the car.

mmmm circuits are cool, but what about if we explore into new sensations?

Wanna a real a dangerous challengue?

1. LEASE AN AIRPORT

2. 737

3. LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO

4. LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO BEFORE OF THE PLANE

5. MAINTAIN A SECURITY DISTANCE FROM THE PLANE

6. BOTH ARE IN THE TAXYWAY... MURCIELAGO AND 737

7. PLANE HAVE THE MOTORS ON AND READY TO TAKE OFF

8. CAR IS WAITING AND TURNED ON

9. COUNTDOWN... 10 ... 9 ... 8 ... 5 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 NOOW!

10 CAR BEGIN TO RUN AND PLANE TOO, SO PLANE PURSUITS THE CAR.

11. AND FINALLY PLANE TAKES OFF AND CAR HAVE ANOTHER ADDITIONAL PROBLEM... REDUCE SPEED BEFORE THE TAXIWAY ENDS.

That's a real challenge!!!

However it is DANEGEROUS AND IS POSSIBLE SUFFER MORTAL INJURIES. You know... the jet propulsion of the Engines from the plane expel air to extremely hot temperature, if the plane is near the car when takes off... pilot of the car could die. Additionally, air is expeled to high velocity which surely brakes the car glass into a lot of little pieces converted into litle invisible knives, travelling like bullets.

But I'm wondering how romantic and beauty would be to record these images involved in the early sunset magic.

Anyway... if some crazy guy here (like me) with tons tons tons tons of money (not as me) looking for new sensations (like me) is looking to do this... I MUST RECOMMEND STRONGLY NEVER DO THIS. :(

Is only a crazy idea as much other I have.

Finally! Someone else who respects the Tremblant track! I attended the Ferrari Festival back in July of 02 and have been to the Ferrari Dealer off the Decarie Highway, small place, only saw a Red 355 a 512 and a 328 or sometihng but decent nonetheless. (I'm in Ottawa)

I was really hoping you'd go Tony_Ensemble. I'd get to meet the president of the company who makes one of my favourite games and see a Murcielago!

Green Lambo (from the Chrome Wheel thread) knows the tracks here in Dallas. I was hoping to rent the track with him and a couple of other car owners and make my video that day. (I'm speaking of the video that I promised but have yet to deliver. But I haven't forgotten.)

Tony, you are a lucky lucky man. Not only do you get to have a Murc, or 2, in your garage and to cruise around in, but you get to race in it.

That's it....? I love how someone could own such beautiful cars and say "that's it". I would be hapy to LIVE in a Murcielago. Tony, do you realize just how lucky you are?

Don't get me wrong. I'm trying to be neither pretencious or coy. I answered that way becuase Sizzlin has a lot more. It would sound silly for me to brag about my cars when there is always someone with more.

I am a very fortunate individual. Most people work their asses off their entire lives and never come into welth. However there are people who are welthy and not happy which is a shame. There are also people who are not welthy but are very happy. I am lucky to be happy first and foremost. I like to think I became successful becuase I did what made me happy. If I lose my welth I will still have my happiness.

Still its nice to welth on top of happiness. But shoot me if I ever turn into a rich asshole.

Hey, I asked the question so it's not bragging at all.

I like how you've described yourself and accomplishments, you are very modest in what you say and you've put it in such a way that I find wields great repsect and dosen't make you seme pretentious or any such thing like that.

I must comment on one thing though. I greatly appreciate the speed and just the general responses you make, It might sound like a small thing, but there's only a handful of exotic owners and other high profile people on this site that are dedicated enough to respond to our endless sea of questions and comments as well as you.

Thanks!

Porsche, I have to agree with you 100%. Thank you Tony, for answering any questions we have the best you can, we appreciate it. Sizzlin on the other hand, does anyone know if he really does have all those cars? B/c he sure doesn't answer the questions we ask or even post a pick of one car. Thanks again Tony.
