Very, very hard. It would require tons of money, welding, fabrication, located the GTS motor, not to mention new trans, drivetrain, ecu...the list goes on.
Your better off just either selling your Eclipse & buying a GTS or turboing your current car. Give www.HahnRaceCraft.com a call, they can hook you up with a nice turbo kit.
Here's some oyther great resourses for ya,
www.dsmtalk.com
www.dsmtuners.com
www.2gnt.com
Or if you end up buying a GTS,
www.neweclipse.org
Good luck!:)

yeah if you turbo the gs motor, you will get the same power as that gts, or more depending on the turbo used... besides that, i heard there are some problems in the early 3g model v6 engines.

The first question i would ask is why. if it was simply to be different then thats kwel. the gen 4s have a a really weak headgasket( or so im told) and arent ecpected to last 60k. the money youd spend on a v6 replacement woulkd be more than enuf to trade in your gs for a gsx or a gst ( 96 or newer) i ve seen em for around 10 -14 k in this area (ohio).
My recommendation would be to trade in and buy speed instead of spending ALOT of money for a much inferior engine. Anyone disagree?
