Doucette, I like the Roadster rims but I dont think I can get those for a long time as the Roadster is still only a concept vehicle. But I do highly endorse the idea of making video games an becomming financially independent. :)

Wheels,
Despite Carnaciers disapproval I went ahead and purchassed the chrome rims from Green Lambo. I dropped the car off at the dealership today and when I get back from Boston this weekend it should be ready. I will post pics.

Next,
If you like nice custom details then really have to see what Green Lambo is doing with his car. All new speaker and a beautiful stereo, the kind with the pop-out LCD panel. The volume is incredible. He mounted the amp in the front trunk under the partition where the car cover usually stowes. He then installed a window in the partition so you can see the amp when you open the hood. He also installed lime green lights under the partition so the amp glows green through the window. Next he had a radar detector installed. I dont know where he mounted it but he did a beautiful job mounting the green diode lights in the dashboard so it looks stock. Also he installed some green glowing lights in the black air vent at the bottom/back of the doors. That may sound like he's gone too far but it is really subtle and looks great at night. I'll see if I can get some pics if anyone is interested.

just stay with the orginal rims, those chrome wheels just make the lambos look like those rice cars with super shiny chrome wheels....... if i were u, i would keep it as orginal as possible...

keep in mind that.. it is an exotic car, not a honda civic......

well that is just my personal opinion....:)

SuPeRcAr_MaN
01-18-2003, 08:18 PM
NOTHING can make a Murci look like a ricer. Don't ever say anything like that again. However, I don't think chrome rims look great on Murcis. But, maybe these will look nice. Have to see the pics....

Rice Burner's rarely have chrome wheels, the majority of them use Satin finished wheels or wheels painted the same color as their car. Get the chrome rims Tony, they will look so clean with your orange paint job!

I got the chromes, finally!

It looks freekin awesome with orange.

All the Lamborghini techs were going ga-ga over the wheels after they put them on. Then another murcialago owner came in and he took one look and said "Shit. Now that I see the chromes, my car looks unfinished."

I'll take some good pics tomorrow. The sun was setting so I only got off this one pic.

I'm really happy!!

hi tony,

really great chrome wheels.
they look perfect on the car! really nice!
but why did it take so much time to put them on?
what about the costs? were they more expensive than the normal ones?
are they the same size?

thanks

greets

Marius

Its a long story why they took so long. I'm not sure myself.

They are stock wheels. The Lamborghini dealership send them off somewhere to get chromed. So, yes, they are the same size. I bought a whole new set of wheels so I wouldn't have to wait 2 months. with my car on a lift. The wheels are $1700 each (stock) plus $500 each to get them chromed. So thats about $9000 altogether. But the dealership will try to sell my old wheels, so hopefull I will recoup some of that.

Wow, it actually looks cool with the frost on the windows and lights. Just curious though, why did you leave it in the driveway? Anyways, thanks for sharing them again, I now have a new wallpaper for my computer! I must add that I really like your house, very very classy looking!:D

I was too lazy to put it in the garage.. And my wife is out of town. So this weekend I sleep in, park out front, order pizza, watch the man show, walk around in my underware, drink from the the milk carton and forget to flush... This weekend I am TONY, LORD OF THE HOUSE!!!

:hehe: Thats so funny, I think I'd be the same way if my wife was outta town(if I was married). I would probably be too lazy to pull my car in too. That just shows us Tony that your a regular guy who has nice cars and can be as lazy as us college students. :ylsuper

LMAO, Lord of the House, the trilogy;

Part 1: The Fellowship of the Pizza
Part 2: The Two hours of TV
Part 3: The Return of the Wife

That's a mighty big house you have BTW, does it have a Bowling Alley? :D

It's funny (although logical) that people who own Lamborghinis still do stuff like that!

Tony, I hope you don't mind me asking, but how many sq. ft. is your house? How many cars can you fit in the garage?

Tony_Ensemble
02-01-2003, 07:54 PM
Yes, I can be as lazy as you college students. Thats probably why I dropped out. But I dont advocate dropping out, unless you are damm sure of yourself; what you want to do and how you will get there.

Here is what I do advocate. "Figure out how to make a career doing what you have a passion for." If you are not sure what you like to do or what you are good at look to your hobbies. Whether thats cars, writing, programming or Dungeons & Dragons, usually your hobbies are where your passions lie. If you follow your passions you will be very successful in life. If you dont you will just be workin for the man.
[soapbox off]

[Tony, I hope you don't mind me asking, but how many sq. ft. is your house? How many cars can you fit in the garage?]
My house is 12000 sqft. I have a three car garage.

Thanks for answering my question about your house. I'm sure it sounds odd to ask that but I love beautiful houses and just like to know things like that. Thanks. By they way, since I have a passion for cars, anybody have any ideas of what I could do job wise involving cars and being successful?

Porsche
02-01-2003, 10:21 PM
That good advice Tony. I've learned that same thing on my own, but I'm lost as to what I sohuld do career-wise. I love to design and build, but I'm obsessed with becoming sucessful, I think I could be pretty good a buisness, but we'll see, anyything I should steer clear of or look into would be appreciated.

Tony_Ensemble
02-01-2003, 11:54 PM
[anything to steer clear of?]

For you Porsce, dont let your obsession for money & success become stronger than your pursiut of what you love to do. It's a very strong tool to drive you to excel but just keep it in balance. I found that the pure pursuit of wealth leads to very unwise decision making.
