As many of you can probably guess, my New Year's plans were "derailed" less than 48 hours ago. Fortunately, we had planned New Years in New York, which is where I am from, so instead of crashing in the Hotel with my now ex-girlfriend, I will crash with ma and pop. And instead of hanging out in a mid-town bar with mostly her friends, I am rigging up with AF member zigsym, whom is a good friend that I know from high school, at a party on the east side. And I may hit another college-type raging kegger with another buddy from Hartford who is also going down the NYC with the ex-girlfriend entourage.

New Year's will be salvaged!!! :D :sun:

Yeah, happy new year all of the other parts of the world that havn't had it yet. I think i'm a bit too late though  .

I too, don't see why we celebrate new year, especially by letting off fireworks and getting drunk.

Because people (especially Americans) are always looking for a good excuse to do those two things.
