Gauges

Hi,

I have a 1993 325is. All my gauges (speedometer, odometer, gas, and temp) went dead. I have checked with my local mechanic and he said all fuses look ok. He was unable to diagnose the problem. Has anyone also experienced this problem or might know what the issue could be???

First I would check all the fuses then make sure the instrument cluster is grounded well. If your lights (instrument panel)still work but your cruise control doesnt it is probably your instrument cluster. I am going to get a used one because they are 300 $$ new + 150 for something else and the dealership has to put it in to make sure the other cluster is programed to my specific car or it will not work. Good luck and keep me posted on what the problem was.
