Shaved my antenna

Hey everyone, I just had my antenna Shaved on my P11 g20 and I was wondering if it would be possible to goto the bmw dealer and snag the bmw 3 series antenna? Would that work? Any insight would be great, thanks,

How did you shave your antenna? I want to do the same that stock antenna is ugly as hell. I want a european style antenna like the is300. If you have any info on how to do this let me know.:bandit:

I shaved mine and now without any antenna, I have the best reception I've ever had. It's hard to explain. Try it without an antenna and you might find out you don't even need one. Or maybe I just have a unique case.....

What did you do to fill up the hole from your stock antenna?

I want an antenna that sticks out over the back window and is short (like the is300 i think), although I wouldnt want to drill holes :(

Thats exactly what I want, frogg. If anyone nows where I or we can find an antenna that can install on the rearview mirror and no drillin is involved that let me know.:bloated:
