d16y8 into 96 dx

I have a 96 Civic DX. It was running a little while ago, but now it has a blown motor. I was just driving, going about 40 until I heard some cling-clangs. My motor turned off, I tried to start it again but it didn't work. So I got off the road and popped the hood. I was lookin around and I found a piece of my connecting rod. I looked some more and found that my block has a whole in it. Now I need a new motor. I don't want to swap a B16/B18 because I'm gonna sell the car to my brother. I decided to get a 1.6L SOHC VTEC (I think D16Y8 is the engine code). However, I don't know what I need to get the swap done. I know I'll need the motor and the ECU at least. How would the wiring work? Any body know how to wire a DX to a EX VTEC motor and ECU?
