The wide body looks great but the wing is too big.

Wing too big? But the actual N2-spec car wing is larger than mine.:(

AE's fenders are ugly, i mean, they dont fit in there, its a drifter car, not some sport series car. Take them off :rolleyes: :bloated:

Man we have differemt tastes, i prefer to see the trueno with nice BBS rims, fully lowered, camber angle up to 2.4-front 1.5-rear. those fenders defenatly wrong department. i will post this pic at the other forum, to see what people prefer.

I have to agree on the wing....needs one but not that big.
To me the fenders are to big, but the style you are after they look good.
Look forward to seeing more updates on it

Vyacheslav - i agree with you in some ways. my dream hachi is like the one from initial D. panda paint job and black watanabe wheels on it, but i still think the fenders can look good on it! while it wouldn't be what i would do to my Hachi if i had one, i can still appreciate it.

HKS coming along. No time to print out the reference pict for me to continue on my model, will find some days. Stay 'tuned':D

As for AE86 N-spec race car. It is happen more extreme in 2001 AE86 Racing, actually I want to a levin like the TRD AE86, but cut the wrong car.:( Will be doing some other Street AE86 too, will post up once I got my digi cam.
I just finish sanding the N-spec, I got some doubt on the color, maybe someone can give me some idea.
1. white with carbon hood with watanabe rims.
2. white with 2 blue strip across the body with BBS
3. black with with carbon hood with silver watanabe or silver N1 sparco

Its a race cars, its ment to be fast, not look good.

and IMO it looks damn fast.
Can't wait for the finnished pics, it looks like it could be quite an accurate model.

DEFINITLEY go white with carbon good and watanabes. the BEST possible look for an AE86.

hMmmm.....why can't you go with white for the body colour....it kinda gives a very clean look........:D

Yes. I use tamiya epoxy putty and tamiya pla-plate to do the body kit, then the tamiya putty to fill the hole. but primer is by Mr. hobby:hehe:

Thanks everyone. But in fact this is my first time to do big fender and rollcage. Always want to do it, but afraid to do so. So this is just one of the prototype kit, not a very happy project because the body kit and interior is not perfect yet, will try again.

No Neige, is not a N1 spec but a N2 spec.:rolleyes:
Most of the N2 spec AE86 Trueno or Levin (most driver perfer Levin), had big wheel fenders and big GT wing. Engine mostly are super charge. Around 8,000 - 10,000 rpm with aleast 200ps. I got this VCD 'AE86 Club #5', is all about the race. :p

I had finish my AE86 N2 spec, but no digi cam, will ask my friend to take some shot and show all of you...By the way, Happy New Year to everyone:wave:

let's see, it came with R34 17" Rims, Stock Seats, (no racing buckets), stock steering wheels, RPS13 before M/C rear tail lights, b4 M/C front bumper, left hand drive set up, sunroof, and OK Racing Decals. i had to use my own Sparco Steering wheel, and my own Recaro seats which doest NOT fit into the interior, so i had to make a lil mod myself. currently its sportin 18" BBS frum the MINE's R32 kit and the typical fujimi "N1" exhaust. last night i cut the headlights open and left it 1/4 way up :D
