We could do if there was enough interest in doing one

I don't think there will be enough interest to do it every month or even every 3 months. But 2 times a year is another story ;) And I will even probably join the next one :D

Well, and forthe contest thingy, I kinda support the idea of having two competitions a year. I mean, every modeler finishes at least two model cars a year... and it shouldn't be so hard getting two pictures of it, sending them and... well... showing them off ;)

I bet the "Automotiveforums Model Car Competion" will be a world -renowned contest within a few years, with tv-coverage, prizes like real life counterparts of your model car and gorgeous babes handing you the trophy ;-)

as long as THEY pay me the ticket to fly all the way from Belgium, Europe to NZ to collect my trophy handed out by a cool babe... I wouldn't mind. :smoker2:

If there is interest, I can add AF contest as part of my BMOM contest. It can be separate contest for AF members only. Only problem can be to find sponsors who will give awards.

I bet there are a lot of people on this forum wwho know someone who knows someone that works for a certain company. Ask around, im sure something can be arranged. They say everyone is connected by exactly 5 people. Keep that in mind...

It isn't so easy. Over past few years I contacted over few hundreads firms, shops, people,... for sponsorship and got very small response.
