The clutch and gearbox are both pretty knackered on my b16 zc so i am looking to change both in the next 6 months, i'm not sure wether to get a performance clutch as it is all apart but i only have a performance exhaust and intake so I probably wouldn't gain that much for the cost,
I drive my car pretty hard most of the time so is it worth getting a stronger gearbox as my car has only done 98,000 miles and it whines like a bitch in third and forth and the syncro has gone in second as well as making a dodgy sound in first and second like a whiring noise so i'm worried if I put in another standard box that it wont last two miniutes
any advise would be great

there is no such thing as a b16 zc.......there is the dual overhead cam vtec B-series b16, and there is the dohc non-vtec D-series, no parts are interchangable between the two, so it couldnt even be a hybrid....care to collaborate?

Ok you most likely have the d16a8/a9...basically the euro version of the jdm ZC. You will therefore need a L3/D series cable transmission. I might suggest using a jdm ZC transmission with an USDM or EDm equivalent Si final drive. Great for acceleration and good for crusing as well. What transmission do you have currently?

Just the standard one at the moment:bloated:
