I have a nightmare on my hands. My van has an electrical glitch that causes the wiper (front only) to majically go through a single sweep at odd times. It originally started with my wife driving. For her many things wigged out: alarm went off, dash lights blinking, wipers wiping, she freaked. Anybody have an idea of who would know the wiring good enough to see a common thread?

check the relays under the hood above where the battery mounts, then check under teh driver side dash for any sign of wires crossing, or maybe being tangled in the brake/gas pedal, it sounds like your gonna have to have a professional look at it

My battery was starting to go but hygrometer and load testing had looked good. Corrosion on the battery posts also would cause it. Replacing the battery/cleaning posts fixed all but the rear window wiper booger. I sold it. No more Mopar for me...

First, look up "ghost wipers"
Second, the majority or your problems are coming from the BCM (body control module) could be bad, or have gotten moisture in it. But the wipers will probably keep wiping, that problem is actually inside the wiper motor itself, but can be caused by the BCM too.
oh yeah, a weak battery will bring out all kinds of goblins and ghosts. Don't buy any less than 900cca battery for this van.
