Has anyone heard if/when the g35 will be available in the convertible model?

I haven't heard anything yet. The 350Z is supposed to get a drop top sometime next year, but from what I've heard, the G35 has stiffness issues when the top is removed.
I personally think it might look funny too...The G35 is so sleek and smooth that a rag top might make it look very awkward...now a retractable hard top...that's a different story...;)

i think nas is right i have seen spy pics of the 350z covertible looks like it will be crazy. the g35 would look wierd with a ragtop but even though it is a nice thought i think the hardtop convertible like the lex would cost tooooooo much money and thatz not what they r aiming for. but hey who knows maybe by some mircle they figure a way to do it for cheap :silly2:

Not to mention, the G35 has a BIG sloping roof, where as most of the hard-topped convertables have roofs that are smaller, more bubble-like. Think SLK, SC430, etc. I doubt, keeping the roofline of the G35C, that a folding roof would even fit in the trunk. There's not too much room back there as it is.

I think the G35 coupe is one of the most beautiful sexiest cars in the world especially dipped in black, if they turbo and add a convertible model, I may have to sell my kids and get the car.
