Actual Racers

For those of us that actually race beyond the playstation game gran tourismo, who has actually put a gst vs a gsx(stock) i have raced gsx's(im defiently not stock) and although they get me at the hole shot i smoke them after 1st gear ( more weight for the awd) so is the gsx really faster... i dont know?:confused:

What mods do you have? I have a 2.5" Turbo back, MBC, KN, ACT2600, ported turbo, 17-19psi. What times are you cutting? So far my best is 12.625@112 w/ 1.76 60's. Not to shabby. I do agree my TSi FWD felt faster on the highway though. From light to light, it'd be hard pressed to beat a GSX like that in my opinion. Not flamin, jus discussin.

he he he here is the funniest thing bout my car... i have no idea what mods have been done to her. i bought it with the intentions of doin alot of stuff to her only to find out from mylocal speed shop that " well ur pulleys are titanium, your turbo has been upgrade, you laready have a boost controller, and beyond that the clutch and tranny have been tweeked". i would love to find out what all has been done to it but i am too imbaressed to admit that i am ignorant about my own car lol. hopefull ill get a chance to get her dyno'd and tested after this winter. til then i'll just try to find some peeps in my area to help me out on the id thing.:bloated: :D

So you bought the car modded but did they give you any receipts or papers w/ the stuff installed? That's a bad sales rep for sure. Take your car to a speed shop or some place equivalent. You don't want to run someone else's mods w/o knowing what they can do. A titanium Pulley? Upgraded turbo? What kind. That's dangerous b/c any mod you make could destroy previously installed parts.
