rallying

hey,i am 18 and want to get into rallying but can't afford a new wrx...i am thinking of the 1998 or 1999 impreza RS AWD...is this a good choice?? are these cars reliable?? or i was thinking of a 1997 Mitsu. eclipse Turbo AWD...does anyone rally these?? any help is great...thanks for the help.

of course the impreza's are reliable.

do you realize how expensive rallying is though?
