Ok, a friend of mine just bought some progress springs for his 97 Max Se, he's taking the cheap way out and got them installed without changing the shocks and struts. What will be the result of this? I told him that he'll constantly have to get wheel alighnments and his car will butterfly. Is this the only negative affect? Or can other things go wrong as well?
Are there any springs or Coilovers that will go with the stock Maxima's shocks and struts?

its not going to make too much of a difference. the car isnt getting the support it needs, so he'll probably bottom out a lot, he'll have to replace his shocks pretty soon cause there gonna blow MUCH faster cause they're carying a lot more weight, his car is going to tip when he makes turns, he wont be able to stop as fast, could possibly skid out more often. a lot of things will happen if he doesnt have the proper support but it wont do anything directly to harm the car. just make it more likely while he's driving
tell him to wait the 2 weeks or a month to save another $400 and get KYB adjustables
