Scale Auto Style S2000 update pix (its got colour!)

Hi everyone!
I painted the S2000 last week, Saphire Blue, and painted the mugen rims light gunmetal, what do u guys think?? im thinking babyblue for the interior maybe???

I think it's lookin' pretty darned SWEET!!

That SAS kit looks sooo sweet....excellent choice of colour and rims :D

like the kit and the job you have done but am still not 100% sure about the wing:rolleyes:

first off:
The Wing: Yes, it looks different, it came with the body kit, and its different from the rest, so yeah I like it.

The Paint: first off, i am really impressed with this stuff, its Testors Model Masters spray paint, and Primer. I thought this stuff was crap, so i didnt go near it, but it came out amazingly good. Although the paint was a bit runny and took a long time to dry, it acheived a mirror shine that i have never ever been able to do with any other paint, and i usually use Tamiya. I did NOT polish it in anyway, this is fresh from the paint booth. For a $3 can of paint, and these results, i definately reccomend testors.

Testors eh? Not bad - I've only using tamiya upto now cos testors seems to have a bad rep! But the results are very good considering no poilshing, etc was done yet.

Looking forward to finished car.

yeah i was very surpized at the quality of the paint, it does have a bad rep, and i decided to test spray it on something..and it wasnt that bad..

i usually use tamiya only, but this time i used testors...surpized me at the result!

A warm and cozy (i.e., after being put in hot / warm water) Testor spray can = nice and even; Good stuff

A cold and fuzzy (i.e., straight from storage condition) Testor spray can = yuck.

Excellent! You have done a great job with that, you've made me feel very proud:D

Personally, i would like to see the interior done in another colour aside from blue, how about white or light grey?

i was thinking light grey interior too, like to match the rims...:confused:

I think Testor's higher line of spray cans work pretty well. Colors by Boyd and Model Masters both are very good. I especially like Boyd for their candy colors. Testors base line stuff is crap; basically just their enamel bottle paints mixed with aerosol propellant.
