What does Mugen mean anyway??

Yo people, just wanted to know what Mugen actually means??? :eek:
Because I was on a website which has Anime pictures and it had the word Mugen in it.

MUGEN can be best translated as 'No Limit', atleast that's what I've bean told. My Japanese isn't at it's best:D
