Lowering?

How do you lower cars? :confused:

Shorten the parts that hold the brake disk and wheel hub assembry, so that the tires sits closer to the wheel arch. Then modify the suspension arms accordingly.
You can use search function of this forum, and you'll find tons of tips about lowering a car.

Poop, that won't work on this one. I'm doing a Revell Level 2 Shelby Series 1(yes I'm a beginner, this is my 2nd Level 2 vehicle). Just the way the suspension is made, it's not gonna work.

That's what you are supposed to tell from the first place. Anyway, according to Shelby American, the Series 1 has upper and lower control arms, and push rod.
It's similar to the upper diagrams in the picture below, but it's push rod instead of coil over shock.

Now, cut an shorten the push rod, and bend two control arms upward, so that the upright can sit a little higher.
