I voted for midnight to 4am because that's usually when everybody in my house is peacefully asleep and I feel like the protector of the household because I'm providing my family with ultimate safety!! Plus I can play GT2 without being disturbed!!:flash:

Dusk... (or less commonly dawn)...
When the sky begins to darken and become a great curtain of the deepest blue, as the rays of crimson and gold radiate from the burning orb of the setting sun, as clouds tinge with pink and indigo.
Shadows lengthened with the golden light. The glare of the afternoon sun is replaced by the warm glow of twilight. The breathless air of an arid afternoon cools to the warm cloak of night...
As the lights flicker on around the city and paintpots of color invade the growing darkness... the sun retires beyond my horizon... as I feel the stress of the day wash from my mind and body to be replaced by the casual comfort of the evening...
I can taste the crushed mint... the Cuban Rum and squeezed lime... in a cooling concoction with crushed ice in a long glass.... the smoky flavor of seared scallops wrapped around thin slices of fresh sugar cane, sauteed squid with a lime dressing with the faint bitterness of witloof... white tableclothes, rock salt, glistening cutlery...
I can feel the warm seabreeze caressing the shore... the distant sound of the waves lapping the shore, and the quiet sound of Lisa Ekdahl singing jazz in the background... Quietly slipping from reach as the warm robe of night replaces the heat of day...

Sounds like a typical summer from 10 years ago on my fathers boat.
As for my fav time of day?
Well in summer it has to be from 4pm till when ever.
The heat is leaving the day, but its still warm, and of course its time to start thinking about the BBQ and what you will drink that evening, and of course work out whos comeing over and who isnt.

I gotta go with 12am to 4am. All alone, peaceful. Not that I like being alone or anything(for the ladies reading), it's just it's nice. Oh, even more when you brew up a hot cup of joe, log-on to AF, & just forget all your problems your forced to face during the other hours.

8:01pm-11:59pm for me. I like this time, because I can be alone and can relax without the world bothering me. And its not that late, so I can do whatever I want.

You read my mind.
I love being outside at 3 AM, when the moon is still out full, but you can tell the sun is coming...the sky is more a medium blue than pitch black. Also, it's a time when most people are asleep, all is quiet, and I can just relax. Kind of explains my regular sleeping schedule of 3 AM to 1 PM :D
When I'm in a hot but dry climate in August, like California or Arizona, I also like 6:30 AM or so...go outside to the birds chirping, it's still rather quiet out, a lot of people haven't gotten up yet or are just getting up, go out and walk on the pavement in your barefeet and it's already getting them all toasty :D

Whenever I'm on vacation visting family, there's nothing better than waking up to cloudless sky, facing a mountain range off the back porch in the already 20 C degree weather.
I say already 20C due to the extreme cold I'm in right now.
On a side note like the other peopel who said 12-4, I love that time too, it's like you have the world to yourself, everything is so peaceful.

I like the early morning. I get up (woke up) by my cats about 4:30 - 5:30 every morning. It's quiet. Make some coffee. Play on here. Nothing that immediately has to be done. I don't like 3 pm, always makes me want to take a nap.
