Exhaust

OK HERE'S MY QUESTION.....MY EXHAUST I KINDA LOUD. GOING DOWN THE STREET IT SOUNDS FINE BUT ON THE HIGHWAY IT'S ANNOYING OR AT LEAST GETTING THERE. I HAVE A '90 STANDART HB. I JUST HAD MY EXHAUST PUT ON SATURDAY. IS THERE ANYWAY THAT I COULD QUIET IT DOWN OR AT LEAST SOMETHING? I THOUGHT ABOUT GETTING THAT ECV (EHAUST CONTROL VALVE) THAT MADE BY, I THINK, AEROSPEED BUT IT SAYS THAT IT'S FOR '92+ CIVICS. THINK IT WOULD FIT ON MY '90??

What kind of exhaust do you have? Apexi makes silencers that you can put in the exhaust tip, I don't know what other exhaust systems offer this. But this kind of defeats the purpose of putting a high flow exhaust on your car because the silencer is a restriction.

looks like this but i took the weld off and had them installed separately. don't like the silencers b/c they make a cheesy ricer sound.

is it that loud:confused:
i just dont see how a muffler can be that loud
