Differences in ECU between '91 & '96

Are there any differences in the ECU programs between '91 and '96 ECU's. I ask this since there was a change in the cam, did the ECU's also change and would thre be any benefits from putting a '91-'93 stock ECU into a '94-'96 P10.

Was just wondering. I heard that the '91-'93 ECU's are more aggressive and more acceptable to upgrades. Probably a bunch of bull, but figured I would ask!
