if i'm driving the gts then the gts is faster.

Hmm... I think they are the same car.. The GT-S Corolla is the fastest of the Corollas.

The "black top" 4A-GE is actually the 20Valve version found in the JDM spec AW111. This is the fastest production 4A-GE engine model with 165HP@7800RPM.

The second fastest is the "silver top" 4A-GE (also a 20Valve). This version was rated at 160HP@7400RPM.

Both of these engines were not made available in the U.S.

Also, the proper trim level is "GT-S", there is no "GTS" model for a Corolla.

on some of the corolla gts models some are rear whell drive and others are front wheel i think its only the ones from 90 and after. Anyone have one for sale iver been looking for one for a long time, or a celica with a 3sgte just need motor have many plans for a sr5.

there is only one version (gt-s), the gts is the exact same thing, however i dont beleive it has 165hp like some posts say, it is about 140hp.
