Help me please! I have changed a ton of starters in my life but, for some reason, I cannot find the location of the starter in this car. It is the original factory part, which says a lot about the model year. But, it just went out on me. Please respond if you can help.

If you crawl under the car. It should be either on the right or left side of the moter by the flywheel

It should be on top of the trans if its a 2.5 v6 I had mine replaced by dealer because I thought the armature wasn't extending because somtimes it makes a horrible noise when trying to start and well come to find out its prob just the flywheel needs to be replaced.

I'm sure the starter location is no longer an issue for the person who started this thread four years ago.

Check the date.

Your right but I don't think you should have made such a big deal of it. Maybe somone else has this same question and maybe it could help somone else out. You never know.
