Check This Skyline to USA Idea

Alright this is wat am thinking, buy a used GTR-34 in Japan(about $30,000) ship it to the US (few thousands) get the inpection thing done by motorex ($25,000). That adds up to about $60,000. this is still expensive but ill be saving a lot of money. What u guys think, as you can see am real desperate but it seems logical. Please post suggestions :confused:

The problem with doing it yourself is that you have to know exactly what your doing to avoid breaking Customs, EPA or DOT rules. If you do, no car for you. :( You also have to post the bond for the value of the car unil it's certified. That's the reason MotoRex charges so much. Because it's a pain! :hehe:

1) Buy the car
2) Strip the car down
3) LEAVE NOTHING ON THE CAR !
4) Import just the body
5) Import the all the other parts later
6) Put it back together
7) Take it to DMV for Verification
8) *******Censored**********
9) The title will come back a salviage car
10) YOU CAN NOT RESELL THE CAR COMPLETE
11) Put get the registration
12) IF YOU GET CAUGHT RESELLING THE CAR COMPLETE IT IS ILLEGAL!

Anyways to import the car you have to break in into 2 halves first. Then you have make it fit US regulations.

Yea i currently own a Silver S2000 and a 2000 Audi A4. I will sell both cars for a Skyline. Thx for the nice welcome fellow S2k owner. Right now i am looking at ways to get it without spending the 80G.

I own a 01 S2000 and my parents owns a 00 S4. Anyways there is a lot of problems that will arise when you try to import the car yourself. I am sure it cannot be shiped to America in one whole piece. You have to cut it in half etc. It's better off buying a R34 from Motorex. Heck even R35 is going to come out next year so you could wait for that as well.

YOU KNOW OF A BODY KIT COMPANY called VIS ????? well they did this !!!!!!!!!
