..only if your insurance covers aftermarket parts.... and if they do, you usually have to pay more. I know mine didnt...so when my car got stolen, they only gave me the value of the car...despite me giving them receipts for 2 month old wheels/tires and a bodykit..they still only gave me the value of the car. so if you're worried about it, give the insurance co. a call ;)

yup...but I figured it'd happen b/c I knew they didnt cover that stuff..but gave it a shot anyway. I got back what I put into the car anyway :)
I know for sure Progressive covers like $1k worth of mods...and then you can buy additional coverage. but progressive is disgustingly expensive in philly..

JDM Honda isn't aftermarket, it's Honda, maybe you could get around it.

true...so you're probably screwed either way then..its not aftermarket, so as far as they're concerned, its stock...so you'll get nothing extra for it.

100% JDM and If I'm ever in an accident then I'll have to write the car off. Spare parts availability is nonexistant :(

This is what I did...had my car appraised through my insurance so all items are covered jdm or not. My payments went up a bit ($27 per month extra) but since I have a very clean record (knock on wood) its not too bad, plus I get the peace of mind that whatever happens, my jdm shit is covered, lol...at least pricewise. Replacement or finding the jdm part is another question.:flash:
