yup thanks to Fly the celica project is back on with a new twist.
It is to be completed using the celica transkit as seen on these forums. The standard celica wing is going to be ditched in favour of the wing off of an R32 GTR (just to be different). The car will be painted in tamyias metallic red (I love this color) and probably end up sitting (maybe lowered) on Fujimis Speedline wheels (painted silver).
the kit fitted:

here is the underneath of the car. First attempt at trying to achieve a "used" look. I feel its getting there but it just needs a little something.

I take it you mean the rear wing?
It is the rear spoiler off of a Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R

No i mean the yellow shit on the inside of the car and outside on bumper

that is tamyia putty. It fixes the kit on more solidly than glue alone and also fills in any gaps due to me cutting in the wrong place

Underside of car now completed just have to give the body another coat of primer and then begin on the metallic red body clolour.
One quick question: "should the rear wing remain white or also be painted red?"

I have not lowered a car yet so I'll wait and see what it looks like on a larger set of rims (the second set that came with the tamiya Porshe Boxster). Hopefully these will look "right" until the AVS model 5's arrive cos I don't want to lowwer it until then.
Currently watching paint dry and its xmas day here tomorrow so won't get any work done or photos done for a couple of days.

Those rims look quite good on it. Will you be adding a clear coat? From the pic, there doesn't seem to be much of a shine to it.

worked on getting the car finished today. All that is left is to attach the tail lights, paint the GT-R wing and the standard wing mirrors.
the last 2 should have been finished by now but the primer got coated (whilst still wet) with MDF dust:( so I have to sand them back, re primer and then paint them. The tail lights will be dry soon and attached tomorrow.

It's looking very good indeed.
I've just started mine 2 days ago.
I also want to put a different rear spoiler, but at the moment not sure which, tried a standard Supra wing but not sure, if it looks right.
