Which company is it that makes (made?) the fancy fold-up hood pin parts? Did they sell them separately, or only with other detail sets?

I want to say it's SMS... but I can't find them...

TIA! :)

Made by Scale Details?

I saw a photo-etch set at $9 in my hobby shop. I think Tower Hobbies also have it (if indeed it's what you're looking for).

Detail Master makes them, they are available from either www.towerhobbies.com or www.scaledreams.com
Here are some links:

The ScaleDrems link is to the image, but they are listed on their site, unfortunately as 'Out Of Stock'

Detail Master has its own website, too.

and Modeler's and Sakatsu makes one, as well.

Although this may be a bit off topic, you could most likely make some yourself. All you need would be some wire and styrene plastic, and a bit of imagination :) .

I don't know if Renaissance do seperate ones, but i was looking at the pins that come with the Lancia 037 detail set and they look very impressive indeed!

Renaissance are not separated, and S27 are not good.
Renaissance looks much better to me.

Sorry, I meant the "flip-over" type, not the pin-on-wire "hairpin" type.

I have some of the Sakatsu ones, and they're marvelous in my estimation... :)

But I remember another set with a p/e base that folded up around the ring.

Know what I mean? :)

Modeller's, SMS or Racing 43. I think if you want the modeler's bonnet pin set, the only place is get from hlj.com
Because Modeler's company had already fold up 1yr ago, try to lay my hand some the set, but can't.:(
